Nameless And Nowhere

mix paint on poster board. 2feet by 4feet.
Looking around almost everyone is attached to some kind of devise. We all look for power outlet and some even fight for a free outlet. What would happen if all the power went out for a day, a week, a month, or worse a year.
Well thanks to everyone that sign up to be a guest next month to my art studio private art show. Which still doesn't have a name but don't think it's very important. And to everyone else that didn't have time to sign up, better luck next year.
In other news...
Here is an earlier version of the same painting before it was finished. Trying to take a different pictures of the progress a painting goes through but sometimes we get carry away and forget to take the pictures.
Try to edit the pic but got lazy and frustrated so...

Don't forget to subscribe to this blog and check out older archive posts.

Waking Down With Strangers

Paint on cardboard. Each side is 0.6096 meters.
It is widely believed that man, as it stands now, come from apes, monkeys, primates, and whatnot. Who really cares where we come from if we don't know where we are going. But then if you don't know your history you are doom to repeat your history. What if your life already happen and this is just your flashback? Can you change what happen? Would you want to change the good parts of your life along with the bad parts?
Here is a painting that got stolen, or lost, or destroyed, but whatever the case it will never be finish. This is not the first, or last, time a painting is left unfinished. Somethings can not be controlled and trying to control it will only make you go crazy or crazier.
Paint on cardboard.
It's ok to be sad sometimes but like a wise man once said, "Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend."
I've used this quote before but it still stand true to this day. Now stop your sulking and flow, flow like water. And as a treat next week we'll post something special. Until then catch up with past archive, check out our flickr account, or help spread the word around.
And don't forget about the art show next month, sign up now while there is room. Might get a few peeps, or even yours truly, to play a few songs. Laters foo...

Trying to escape...
work in progress, or by now should be finished.
paint on cardboard.

If you've been wondering what happen or why there hasn't been a post in a while is because we've been in jail. Putting art in the street can be somewhat of a risk and sometimes you get popped. Or maybe we've been working on a bunch of artworks, or maybe we don't have internet at home, or maybe you don't really care. Whatever the reason you are reading this blog we thank you.
It seems that, by looking at the stats, that there are many folks hitting this blog. So, we will try and put a few more pics this summer whenever possible. If you like what you see or read please comment with your name or send us an email at tonyalmaworks@gmail.com and tell us what you think. Help spread the word or come by the art studio and buy some art. If you would like us to move to your state and city let us know where we can find a job and a place to leave because the heat in Texass is just too... ugh, muggy. Till next time, keep hemp alive :)
