Corona on a Sunday afternoon.
Rode the bike downtown on Sunday and stopped by the bar for a few cheap drinks. The game was going on the tube with the Packers and the Bears battling it out. Not much of a football fan and we had some chalk so this was the first time trying 3d chalk art.
Jason falling backwards into the water.
Love the way the right side came out but the top and the left side needs work. After it sprinkle a bit we went back inside and got drunk.
Jeff and the Hammer with cheese and beer on his head.
Steve-o takes another drag off his cigarette.
Shagnasty's "team" losing.
Hitched a ride with Fletch so the bike got left behind.
Plan on going back to get the bike but unsure about drinking at the bar. The Packers won the game for those keeping track. Want to go skating today so there should be some pics later this week. One last note and we'll remind you again later about Artslam! this Saturday at White Rabbit in San Antonio. People painting live, spray painting, live music, we hope cheap beer, and nice folks. Hope to see you there, take care.

It Fell Before and After First Friday
Thursday and Saturday are the days not many people think about when the first of the month comes by. This year we went to first Thursday at Blue Star and first Saturday at the Flop House to check out some great art and hang out with cool people.
Blue Star Gallery but didn't get the artist name.
Part of Ed Saavedra's art that was very thought provoking. Thought it was one of the better pieces there but what do we know.
It was hard to get a good picture but here is another part of Ed's art called "Excuse me while I disappear."
Tribute to Chuck R.I.P. by unknown artist.
Hand art by unknown artist.
Rich people like strange art. Big yarn ball made from paper by unknown artist.
Unknown stencil art by who knows.
Then on Saturday off to the Flop House which we got there way too early but left before the rain.
Mark Antony host of the Flop House.
Walls covered with art and what nots.
Strange but interesting cheap vinyl. If this one had a record we would have bought it but unfortunately it didn't.
Erik and unknown person that got more attention from the dog tied up in the front of the house.
Art at the Lone Star Gallery.
All the dog wants is to love your leg, why are you so mean?.
Josh's art on the right and unknown artist on the left.
party goers.
Fletch, in the middle, talking about art with folks.
Strange movie called "The Holy Mountain"
Would like to upload more pics but too tired and it is taking way too long. Finished three new paintings for the February show but not going to post pictures until the show. Don't forget about Art Slam at the White Rabbit on the 29th.

Words That Hurt And The People That Throw Them
The first Friday of the first month of the year at the Texan two had a art show for the first time ever. It was pack from wall to wall with folks of all different kinds of lives. Many people there having fun and getting along. Even if some of them don't get along with other people there they kept the peace and had a great time. There was many friends, free food, cheap drinks, and great art! Over 800 pictures were taken that night, but it takes five minutes to upload one picture so we are only posting a few. The rest can be seen by coming over and seeing the pictures at our place. Maybe we should start making a USB thumb drive with all the pictures? What do you think?
Well, until then here are some pics from the Texan Two first Friday art show...
.
artist at hand Josh Stirflux on the left and Fletch on the right.
Stevie at the jukebox and Crystal with her new mohawk.

Flip in front of Fletch's art making the same face as the painting. Ha ha, what are the odds?
Jeff and Blanden.
Tarren saying no means no.
David playing pool wearing a cool tee.
Steve-O in the crowd.
Ric the man that made it happen and put everything together rocking out with Crystal.

Tony and the beautiful Nina.

Sorry but after hanging out with you more than a few times your name seem to have been forgotten.
Fletch art and bar patron.
First Friday art show sign.
Free food for carnivore and vegetarian.
She has to pee she screams past Josh's art.
Flasher.Blanden kicking drunks out single handed.
Thanks go to everyone that came out, Ric for putting the show together, Andy and Jena for the ride, and the people that bought artwork. Wish we had more picture of the art and the artist but still happy with the out come.
And we hope to be part of a live art show call Artslam! at the White Rabbit on the 29th of this month. To find out more go to http://artslamsa.com/ and check out the info. If we can't be in it we are still going so it should be cool.

So The Madness Has Begun Or So It's Said And Done
Last year we mailed a painting of Willie Nelson to Willie Nelson and it got Stolen. His staff said they never received any painting and the post office said they mail it but can't say who sign for it. Is there anything that can be done?
Wait.
Let's start over, Happy fucking new years everybody. Hope you had a great time and spend it with love ones.
There is going to be less blogs now that we have a nine to five job but here are some paintings that are still in the works.
